McDaniel’s Piggly Wiggly and Second Harvest of the Big Bend Partner for Free Food Distribution Events

Food Distribution Events in Sneads and Chattahoochee set for Wednesday, November 19

McDaniel’s Piggly Wiggly is partnering with Second Harvest of the Big Bend to host two free food distribution events on Wednesday, November 19, to support families in need across the region.

The first distribution will take place at Adam Tucker Wilson Park in Sneads, Florida, beginning at 10 a.m. CST. The second will be held at the Chattahoochee Recreation Center in Chattahoochee, Florida, beginning at 2 p.m. EST.

Each event will provide free produce, protein, and other nutritious food items for families seeking assistance. Community members are encouraged to arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before the start time to ensure a smooth and orderly distribution.

The food distributions are part of McDaniel’s ongoing commitment to serving the communities surrounding its stores throughout North Florida and South Georgia. The partnership with Second Harvest of the Big Bend allows both organizations to expand access to healthy, essential foods for families facing food insecurity.
